Does your family tree include an American Revolutionary War Patriot who helped America gain independence? If so, you may be eligible to join the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR). Many members proudly share their DAR experience across multiple generations.

Membership is open to any woman 18 years or older – regardless of race, religion or ethnic background – who can prove lineal descent from someone who supported the cause of American independence between April 19, 1775 (the Battle of Lexington), and November 26, 1783 (the withdrawal of British troops from New York).
