Genealogy is a vital part of what connects each member of the DAR. To join, every member must trace and document her lineage to a Patriot who supported the cause of American independence during the American Revolutionary War.

If you’re curious about your family’s past or think you may have American Revolutionary roots, we are here to help! Many of our members have completed training through the Genealogical Education Program of the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), and are happy to guide you through the application process. We offer genealogical workshops, presentations, and one-on-one consultations for prospective members. We also take part in cemetery documentation projects to preserve valuable historical and family records.
