Since its founding, the Jean Nicolet Chapter, NSDAR, has proudly supported the placement of historical markers to commemorate significant people, places, and events in Northeast Wisconsin. These markers help preserve the rich heritage of our area.
While some of the plaques remain in place and are featured below, others have been removed or lost to time. In all cases, they reflect our chapter’s dedication to honoring Wisconsin’s past.
Below is a list of some of the sites that have been marked over the years. See the map to the right to find out where they are located.
- Liberty Bell Replica
- Site of the first Brown County Court House
- Site of the first Bank of Wisconsin
- Brown County Veterans Memorial
- Fort Howard Hospital
